Meet this week’s Star Player
Every week the sun highlights one of the sixty-four archetypes in the Star Psychology family.
During that time we are all under their influence. So let’s meet the archetype that is influencing us all right now.
Listen to the words of the Collaborative Leader
Leadership in service of the greater good
Strengths & mission
The Collaborative Leader carries the potential for significant influence, especially through the clarity and power of their communication. Yet their true gift lies in understanding that real authority comes only through the invitation and trust of their community.
Challenges
However, these leaders are equally vulnerable to deep insecurity when their leadership is not recognised or welcomed. Without the invitation they rely on, they may withdraw and deny their own potential, or overcompensate by using their influence to manipulate others for personal gain.
Witnessing self
The witnessing self plays a crucial role in keeping the Collaborative Leader grounded. It must ensure that their ambitions remain balanced with the needs and wellbeing of the collective, and that their decisions genuinely benefit everyone involved. Maintaining integrity, fairness, and humility is essential. Ultimately, they must accept that others have the freedom to follow or not, and trust in their own independent vision while staying deeply connected to those they serve.
Reflecting on this energy:
Does your inner leadership reflect your outer leadership? Do you allow all aspects of your ‘self’ to express themselves. Remember, hearing and listening are not the same as agreeing. Don’t be afraid to hear something you might not agree with.
