Meet this week’s Star Player

Every week the sun highlights one of the sixty-four archetypes in the Star Psychology family.

During that time we are all under their influence. So let’s meet the archetype that is influencing us all right now.‍ ‍

The Guardian of Grace

Don’t let politeness get in the way

Strengths & mission

The Guardian of Grace combines emotional openness and deep listening, with a social grace and charm that is highly attractive to others.. Their gift of grace can be expressed in many ways, from movement to manners, to a gentle approach to children. When faced with difficult challenges in life, the Guardian of Grace represents the love of the divine feminine, powerfully using their deep emotional strength to set loving yet non-negotiable boundaries.

Challenges

However, when the Guardian of Grace is provoked into communicating with others when they are not in the mood for it, their grace may turn into disgrace and their honour into dishonour. The more they are pushed out of their natural state of inner tranquillity, the more they try to escape their emotions by rationalising them, overthinking situations, and speaking before their emotional wave has subsided.

Witnessing self

As the witnessing self it is important to support the Guardian of Grace in letting their mood dictate the depth of relating in each moment. Protect them by withstanding social pressures to be polite. By honouring that inner tranquillity you will recognise the correct timing, and know when your truth is ready to be received. You are one of life’s great listeners and when you feel at ease with your own emotions, it invites others to experience their innermost feelings, which can be extremely healing for all concerned

Reflecting on this energy: do you make yourself speak when you really don’t feel like it, just to be polite. Or do you force others into communicating with you when you know they are not ready. Do you return non-love with love?
